A Lawyer by training, Simon spent the first half of his career practicing law and heading legal teams. Working in both contentious and non-contentious practice areas his focus was always client first.
During his time at the legal coal face he was privileged to have also been a key part of numerous innovation programmes. His passion for finding better ways of delivering law led to his career transition to becoming the Head of Technology and Business Systems for a top 100 law firm. Over his time in that role Simon had a wide remit; operating strategically with the board and also delivering numerous large scale projects from DMS, CRM, ERP, UC, network and infrastructure upgrades and cloud migrations.
The next decade saw Simon leading global client consultancy teams for a FTSE 100 tech company, working with nearly 200 law firms around the world, from the very largest to the boutique. For the last five years he led the commercial and marketing teams delivering a new brand and bringing new cloud products to market.
From 2023 Simon decided to put a lifetime of experience in to practice helping clients achieve what they perceived impossible with Lanterna Consulting Services.

Shona is enthusiastic about breaking down complex challenges and building paths forward, engaging key stakeholders on the way and helping staff to buy into the journey. Using her business analysis skills, Shona is able to identify points of weakness and creatively streamline intricate processes, ensuring that the customer and data journey are considered, mapped and weaved into the initiative.
Having worked in commercial roles, Shona understands the importance of delivering return on investment and ensuring that measures provide genuine value to the firm.
With a strong understanding of the competitive arena, Shona aims to help firms achieve a more successful position in market whilst internally analysing and making recommendations for cost savings, promoting profitability both interiorly and externally.
